Loss prevention agents from a North Cleveland-Massillon Road home improvement store reported Feb. 21 that they would locally prosecute several members of a large-scale, organized retail theft operation. The group targeted the chain’s stores across the country using fraudulent returns and bar code switches to take more than $217,000 from the company. Several members of the group will be charged with theft involving the Bath Township store.
